INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Tim Tebow came to Indianapolis with the same affable personality, the same following and a new throwing motion.
He’s just hoping the new look turns NFL critics into believers.
Tebow, the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, will wait until his March 25 pro day to give scouts a glimpse at the new motion.
But unlike others in this highly touted draft class, Tebow intends to do all of the non-throwing drills at this weekend’s annual scouting combine. Each of the four highest-profile guys in this year’s quarterback class have questions to answer. Notre Dame’s Jimmy Clausen is coming off toe surgery. Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford and Texas’ Colt McCoy both are rehabbing from arm injuries. And many wonder if Tebow can be an effective NFL quarterback.
