MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -Sage Rosenfels was the only player on Minnesota’s active roster all season who didn’t appear in a game.
Rosenfels was able to learn a lot about the quarterback position from Brett Favre, though. Because of that and the team’s run to the NFC championship game, Rosenfels says his first year with the Vikings was still fun from the sideline.
While Favre decides whether to return for a 20th NFL season, Rosenfels and fellow backup Tarvaris Jackson are in limbo again – just like they were last summer while Favre was deliberating.
Rosenfels said Thursday in a phone interview with The Associated Press that he isn’t concerned about what he can’t control. He says he hasn’t thought about requesting a trade.
