ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) -Former Buffalo Bills assistant Eric Studesville has been hired as the Denver Broncos’ new running backs coach, replacing longtime assistant Bobby Turner, who has rejoined Mike Shanahan in Washington.
Studesville’s hiring was one of many coaching staff changes the team announced Saturday.
Bob Ligashesky is the tight ends coach, replacing Clancy Barone, who moves to offensive line coach. Bob Wylie was made Barone’s assistant, and Ben McDaniels – coach Josh McDaniels’ brother – was promoted to quarterbacks coach.
The Broncos haven’t replaced defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, who left after one season, along with Turner and offensive line coach Rick Dennison, who joined the Houston Texans’ staff.
