RENTON, Wash. (AP) -Coach Jim Mora says he envisions Matt Hasselbeck will be the Seahawks’ quarterback again in 2010.
That was about all for assessments or expectations from Mora on Wednesday, three days after Seattle finished another woeful season at 5-11.
The coach deferred most other specifics until after the franchise hires a general manager and perhaps a president. Tim Ruskell was forced out of both jobs on Dec. 3, leaving Mora as the only man to answer bigger picture questions.
That includes the coach’s own future. Mora says, “I’m just going to go work until I’m told not to work.”
Seahawks chief executive Tod Leiweke, who is heading the GM search, has said he anticipates Mora returning for a second season as head coach.
