Falcons vs. Saints Week 16 Odds
NEW ORLEANS, LA (The Spread) – With the NFC South on the line, the Saints will host the Falcons in what should be a highly entertaining Monday Night Football matchup tonight.
ATLANTA: The Falcons have looked like a completely different team since halftime of their game against the Panthers two weeks ago. Trailing 23-7 after two quarters, Atlanta scored 24 unanswered points to beat Carolina 31-23 and then turned around four days later and spanked Jacksonville, 41-14. The Falcons are starting to find some consistency on offense, where Matt Ryan has thrown seven touchdown passes to zero interceptions his last two games. The defense, which has been the strength of the team for much of the season, continues to play well week in and week out.
NEW ORLEANS: The Vikings proved to be no match for the Saints, who routed Minnesota 42-20 last Sunday at the Metrodome. Drew Brees threw for 412 yards and five touchdowns against a beleaguered Minnesota secondary, while Marques Colston finished with 91 yards receiving on eight catches. The victory was New Orleans’ sixth in a row as the Saints are now 11-3 on the year and 10-4 against the spread. They can clinch the NFC South crown tonight with a win over the Falcons.
