Chiefs vs. Rams Odds
ST. LOUIS, MO (TheSpread) – The Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams are trying to hold on to leads in their respective divisions when the two meet on Sunday at 1PM ET.
The Chiefs are 8-5 on the season and 2-5 on the road. K.C. leads San Diego by 1 game in the AFC West. The Rams are 6-7 on the season and 4-2 at home. They are tied with Seattle for first in the NFC West Division. Trends show that the Chiefs have covered the point spread odds in their last four games against the Rams and are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games following a loss.

Opening odds had St. Louis favored by a point and the spread hasn’t changed during the week, nor has the over/under total.
Kansas City is 7-6 against the point spread odds this season and the Chiefs have hit the under in 7 of 13 games this year. Kansas City had a 3-game winning streak snapped by San Diego last week in a 31-0 loss. Starting quarterback Matt Cassel didn’t play in the loss as he dealt with having his appendix taken out earlier in the week. Brody Croyle threw for just 40 yards in his place in the loss. Croyle will be the starter this week if Cassel is unable to play.
The Rams are 9-4 against the point spread odds this season and they have hit the under in 8 of 13 games. St. Louis is coming off a 31-3 loss to New Orleans last week, which snapped a two-game winning streak. The Rams have been held to 20 points or less in all but two games this year as they are averaging 18.8 points per game on offense while giving up 20.6 points per game defensively. Sam Bradford has thrown for 2,884 yards and 17 touchdowns with 12 interceptions on the season. Bradford has thrown for five touchdowns and one interception over his last three home games.
In terms of injuries, Kansas City defensive back Javier Arenas is expected to play through an ankle injury while St. Louis tight end Michael Hoomanawanui is questionable with an ankle injury.
