Titans vs. Ravens Spread Prediction
The Baltimore Ravens let a win get away from them last week in Cleveland. Will they rebound on Sunday when they visit the Tennessee Titans at 4:25 p.m. ET?
Game Snapshot
273 Baltimore Ravens at 274 Tennessee Titans
1:00 p.m. ET, Sunday, October 14
Nissan Stadium, Nashville, Tennessee
Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetNow.eu, the Ravens are 2.5-point favorites to beat the Titans. The total, meanwhile, sits at 43 points. As of this writing, 54% of the public betting tickets are on the Ravens to cover the point spread.
Baltimore Ravens
Responding to questions about Alex Collins’ workload, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said “a fresh running back is a good thing.” “We need to spread the load,” Harbaugh said. Collins played just 27-of-87 snaps in the Ravens’ dispiriting loss to the Browns. His 31 snap percentage was his lowest of the season. Harbaugh might be keeping Collins fresh, but he’s doing so at the cost of Buck Allen averaging 2.82 yards per carry and 6.2 yards per catch. Those are wasted plays in the National Football League.
Tennessee Titans
Titans LT Taylor Lewan (foot) returned to practice on Thursday. He went for an MRI earlier this week after suffering the injury in Sunday’s loss to Buffalo and must have gotten good news. Barring a setback, Lewan should be ready for Week 6 against Baltimore.
NFL Betting Trends
Baltimore
The Ravens are 4-0 against the spread in their last four games coming off a loss.
Tennessee
The Titans are 5-0 against the number in their last five home games.
Prediction
The Ravens should bounce back today in Nashville. Joe Flacco was horrendous against Cleveland, which included throwing an interception at the goal line in that overtime loss to the Browns. But Baltimore’s defense has been stout all season and Tennessee can’t move the ball with a limited Marcus Mariota. Even if the game is close, I like the Ravens laying less than field goal.
NFL Week 6 Prediction: Baltimore Ravens -2.5
