Rams at Raiders Odds
Two teams looking for their first win will square off in Oakland on Sunday when the Raiders host the Rams. Let’s take a look at the game trends, stats, odds and more.
Game Preview:
The Rams threw the ball 55 times last week with Sam Bradford, which probably wasn’t how they wanted to start the season. No team wants their rookie quarterback to throw the ball that much, which is something the Rams will look to correct this Sunday in Oakland. Steven Jackson has missed some practice time this week, but is expected to start and play. If he goes down at some point, however, St. Louis could be in trouble.
Not that the Raiders will make them pay, of course. Oakland looked brutal last week in a Week 1 road loss to the Titans, as Vince Young and Chris Johnson had a field day with the Raiders’ poor defense. Offensively, if the Raiders can’t figure out a way to protect Jason Campbell then the Rams could easily pull off the upset.
