Dolphins vs. Bills Updated Odds
Two AFC East Division rivals will square off in Buffalo this Sunday when the Bills host the Miami Dolphins at 1:00PM ET. Let’s break down the game.
Game Preview:
Several new faces will populate the Dolphins’ sidelines this year, namely linebacker Karlos Dansby, receiver Brandon Marshall and defensive coordinator Mike Nolan. Miami wanted to upgrade their front seven in the offseason and that they did with the addition of Dansby, who is one of the most versatile linebackers in the game today. Marshall finally gives quarterback Chad Henne a true No. 1 weapon and Nolan will go a long way to helping the Fish fix their defensive woes from a year ago.
On the other side are the Bills, who will unveil some new faces of their own. The team hired Buddy Nix as their new general manager, who then hired head coach Chan Gailey to turn the team around on the field. The Bills also drafted running back C.J. Spiller, who is a true game-breaker in every sense of the word. Gailey announced earlier this week that Spiller will start, so expect a couple of big plays throughout the game on Sunday.
Line Movement & Updated Odds:
The line opened at Bills +2.5 back in April and, after a brief drop to +1.5, the line has steadily climbed from there. On August 24, the line got all the way up to Bills +3.5, but oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com now list Buffalo as a 3-point underdog. The over/under total opened at 38.5 and after dropping as low as 37.5, it’s now back up to 39.
