NFL Prop Odds: Most Passing Yards
(The Spread) – Which quarterback will have the most passing yards in the NFL in 2011? Check out the odds.
Despite the concerns about his neck, oddsmakers have made Peyton Manning the favorite to finish with the most passing yards at 5/1. Manning had neck surgery this offseason but he was activated from the active/PUP list and can start practicing as soon as he’s able. He might be slowed for a couple of weeks while he shakes off the rust, but Manning should be Manning in 2011.
The quarterback with the next best odds is Drew Brees at 11/2. The Saints’ QB threw for 4,620 yards last year, which placed him behind Manning (4,700) and Chargers’ signal caller Philip Rivers (4,710), who finished with the most passing yards in 2010. Rivers, ironically, has the fifth best odds at 13/2.

Super Bowl-winning quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Texans’ signal caller Matt Schaub are both 6/1 to throw for the most passing yards, respectively, which place them behind Manning and Brees. Schaub finished fourth in passing yards last year with 4,370, while Rodgers finished seventh with 3,922 but missed a game and a half due to a concussion.
To round out the top 10, Patriots’ QB Tom Brady is 13/2 to throw for the most passing yards, while Tony Romo (Cowboys) is 10/1, Eli Manning (Giants) is 12/1, Michael Vick (Eagles) is 16/1 and Matt Ryan (Falcons) is 18/1. For a complete list of odds for this prop, see below.
