According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Redskins are the current favorites to sign Jackson at 2/1 odds, although the Raiders are 3/1 while the 49ers and Bills are both 5/1, respectively. The Jets, meanwhile, are 7/1 to sign the recently released receiver, while the Seahawks are 10/1 long shots.

The other long shots to sign Jackson are the Patriots and Panthers at 12/1, respectively, and the Chiefs at 15/1. Of the teams that have been mentioned the most when it comes to signing Jackson, Kansas City, San Francisco, Oakland and Washington have been cited by multiple reports, while the Jets are a logical connection due to the fact that they just signed quarterback Michael Vick. Jackson and Vick just spent the past few years playing in Philadelphia together.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Jackson left Redskins Park without signing a contract but plans to stay in town with hopes of striking a deal with the team. He arrived to Washington on Monday and reportedly spent a nigh tout with players like DeAngelo Hall and rapper Wale, while also have breakfast with team officials. Both sides of strong interest in getting a deal done, but money could become an issue after Jackson was set to make over $10 million with the Eagles.

NFL Network’s Albert Breer also reports that the Niners are only interested in Jackson at the right price. ESPN’s Adam Schefter calls the team’s interest in Jackson “real” but “guarded.” The Niners only have about $5 million under the salary cap.
