Josh Gordon suspended at least a year
CLEVELAND, OH (TheSpread) – The Cleveland Browns will once again be without Josh Gordon for the upcoming season as he once against failed a drug test.
Back at the end of January, it was reported that Gordon failed a league-issued substance abuse test. The NFL suspended Gordon for at least one year on Tuesday, making this his third suspension from the league. He was suspended for the first 10 games of this past season for a failed drug test and was then suspended by the Brown in the season finale after missing team activities.
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, the Cleveland Browns currently have 66/1 odds to win Super Bowl 50 next season. The Seattle Seahawks are the favorites to win it all at 11/2, while the Patriots have 6/1 odds.
Gordon was coming off a 2013 season where he caught 87 passes for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns. He actually missed two games that season because of an NFL suspension. His career is certainly in jeopardy now after being suspended three times in three years as an NFL player. The Browns were 7-9 last season after starting the year 6-3 under first-year coach Mike Pettine.
