LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) – Lexington police say Kentucky quarterback Mike Hartline has been arrested on charges of alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Police confirmed Hartline was arrested early Friday morning near the Kentucky campus after authorities responded to a complaint of an altercation.
Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts says the incident occurred about 3 a.m. EST. She says Hartline had been released from the Fayette County Correctional Center.
Kentucky spokesman Tony Neely said coach Joker Phillips is aware of the situation and will make a comment “at the appropriate time.”
The Wildcats return to practice Saturday in preparation for the BBVA Compass Bowl on Jan. 8 against Pittsburgh.
