JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State says it has accepted a bid to play in the GoDaddy Bowl in Mobile, Ala., for the third year in a row.
The Red Wolves finished the regular season at 7-5, including 5-2 in the Sun Belt Conference. It has clinched at least a second-place finish.
The school said Monday it will play a Mid-American Conference opponent to be announced at a later date.
The GoDaddy Bowl will be played the night of Jan. 5, a Sunday.
Arkansas State lost to Northern Illinois in the bowl game two years ago but last year defeated Kent State. The Red Wolves have had three consecutive winning seasons for the first time since 1985-87.
