STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - The Big 12 title could be back in play in the Bedlam rivalry, and that's only a touch of the sizzle as No. 14 Oklahoma gets ready to host No. 22 Oklahoma State.
After two months of keeping his starting quarterback a secret, coach Mike Gundy announced that Clint Chelf would get the call against the Sooners - although he noted that J.W. Walsh and Wes Lunt have both been cleared to play after knee injuries.
Walsh even played Saturday in a short-yardage running formation that's the Oklahoma State equivalent of Oklahoma's ``Belldozer'' package using backup quarterback Blake Bell.
The Sooners (8-2, 6-1 Big 12) can't afford to breathe a sigh of relief after giving up a school-record 778 yards in a 50-49 win over West Virginia, with Oklahoma State (7-3, 5-2) boasting the league's best ground game.
