WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) – The parents of a college football player shot to death by police have met with the district attorney coordinating the investigation.
Danroy and Angella Henry of Easton, Mass., drove to White Plains, N.Y., on Monday. They attended a hearing on their request to see some of the evidence investigators have gathered.
Their lawyer, Michael Sussman, said they then met with the district attorney. Neither he nor the district attorney’s office would elaborate.
Danroy Henry carried a Bible into court. Angella Henry wore large buttons bearing photos of her 20-year-old son, also named Danroy.
The Pace University student was killed Oct. 17 near the scene of a bar disturbance. Police said he sped away and hit two officers. Some witnesses dispute that account.
