CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) – Miami seems to have regained its swagger as it heads to Virginia on Saturday back in the Top 25 and coming off its biggest victory of the season.
The No. 22 Hurricanes (5-2, 3-1 ACC) are eyeing the Coastal Division title and are wary of a Cavaliers team that has lost nine consecutive league games but is coming off a victory.
Virginia (3-4, 0-3) beat Eastern Michigan of the Mid-American Conference 45-21 last week, but hasn’t won an ACC game since it beat Maryland 20-9 more than a year ago.
The Cavaliers are second to the Hurricanes in passing defense in the league, but have allowed a 261 rushing yards per game in five outings against Bowl Subdivision teams.
