ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -Navy quarterback Jarod Bryant injured his right shoulder and left the Midshipmen’s game with SMU in the second quarter on Saturday. It was the second time Bryant left due to the injury.
Bryant has started three straight games in place of Kaipo-Noa Kaheaku-Enhada, who’s out with a hamstring injury.
Bryant hurt his shoulder early in the first quarter on a 20-yard run, and was replaced by Ricky Dobbs, who scored two touchdowns in the first quarter.
Bryant returned in the second quarter, but reinjured his shoulder six plays later. Dobbs again replaced him, and moments later, he scored his third touchdown of the game.
