FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Players for No. 21 Arkansas aren’t afraid to declare Saturday’s game against Mississippi a must-win.
The Razorbacks know that they need the victory to stay relevant in the rugged SEC West.
Arkansas (4-2, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) hosts Ole Miss (3-3, 1-2) coming off a stinging loss to Auburn. The 65-43 blowout is still fresh in their minds.
Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett, who suffered a concussion during the first half against Auburn, is expected to start against the Rebels. Ole Miss has defeated the Razorbacks in each of the past two seasons under former Arkansas coach Houston Nutt.
