SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) – Notre Dame running back Armando Allen’s availability for Saturday’s game against Western Michigan will be a game-time decision.
Allen is dealing with a hip flexor. He is Notre Dame’s leading rusher this season with 448 yards and two TDs rushing while also catching 15 passes for the Irish (3-3).
Coach Brian Kelly said Allen will dress Saturday and the decision on whether he is able to go will be made based on pregame warmups.
Allen, a senior, led the Irish in rushing in each of the previous two seasons.
