CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) – Illinois offensive lineman Jeff Allen says there is a special feeling when a road team silences a crowd and takes control of a game.
The No. 19 Illini (5-0, 1-0 Big Ten) haven’t been on the road yet this season. That will change Saturday when they travel to Indiana (1-4, 0-1).
Defensive end Michael Buchanan says the Illini will need to start fast to keep the crowd quiet. Illinois coach Ron Zook says the Illini will make the trip without suspended starting linebacker Jonathan Brown and probably won’t have injured receiver Darius Millines.
