AUBURN, Ala. (AP) – The Auburn Tigers continued their seesaw ride in the national rankings.
The 15th-ranked Tigers leapt back into the Top 25 for the second time following their 16-13 win at South Carolina on Saturday. Now, they visit the No. 10 team in the nation for the second straight game with a trip to Arkansas.
They got a confidence boost with a late rally against the favored Gamecocks. Quarterback Barrett Trotter says most people didn’t think Auburn could win the game “but once we get out on the field it’s a whole different story.”
The Tigers have some injury concerns. Leading receiver Emory Blake sustained a leg injury and cornerback Chris Davis missed the last two games. Coach Gene Chizik says their status won’t be determined until late in the week.
