LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) -Derrick Fourroux completed all nine of his passes, two of them for touchdowns, as McNeese State steamrolled NAIA opponent Southern Virginia 63-7 on Saturday night.
Fourroux and two backups combined to go 12-for-12. Mark Fontenot went 2-for-2 and Beau Lasseigne's only pass went for a 28-yard touchdown to John LeDay.
The Cowboys (2-1) also ran 58 times for 276 yards. Blake Bercegeay went 8-for-8 on extra-point kicks.
The Knights (1-4) escaped a shutout when Sam Trulock connected with Brett Petty on a 17-yard touchdown pass with 5 minutes to play.
