FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino says junior defensive end Tenarius Wright is expected to miss 4-6 weeks after breaking his arm in Saturday’s loss to Alabama.
Wright, who has 10 tackles for the No. 18 Razorbacks (3-1) this season, was injured during the first half of the 38-14 loss to the No. 3 Crimson Tide. He was tied for ninth in the Southeastern Conference with six sacks last season, including one on fourth down that clinched Arkansas’ double-overtime win at Mississippi State.
Petrino says Wright had surgery Sunday. He says he is “encouraged” that all other injured players will return this week against No. 14 Texas A&M (2-1) in Dallas.
