LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) – A road trip to Wyoming could serve as a final tuneup for No. 9 Nebraska before the Cornhuskers make their Big Ten Conference debut a week later at Wisconsin. Coach Bo Pelini says his Huskers, though, won’t overlook the Cowboys.
Nebraska’s visit to Wyoming is its first even though the states are neighbors, and it’s the Huskers’ first road game at a non-BCS conference school since 2003.
Both teams come into the game with 3-0 records. It is Wyoming’s first 3-0 start since 1996, although two of its games were against lower- division FCS teams.
