BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) -California has added a home-and-home series with Texas to its football schedule in 2015 and 2016.
Cal athletic director Sandy Barbour announced Friday that the Golden Bears will travel to Austin to play Sept. 12, 2015, and then host the Longhorns on Sept. 10, 2016.
The teams have not played since 1970. Texas has won all four meetings.
Cal already has a home-and-homes scheduled against Colorado in 2010 and '11, Ohio State in 2012 and '13 and Northwestern in 2013 and '14.
