DALLAS (AP) – Robert Griffin III and the 19th-ranked Baylor Bears are eager for their first home game as a ranked team since November 1991.
Fresh off a stunning victory over Rose Bowl champion TCU and a week off, the Bears will play host to Stephen F. Austin on Saturday night.
This will be the first of four straight games Baylor will likely be favored to win. The program went 17 years without cracking the Top 25 until spending two weeks there last season.
Stephen F. Austin is 1-1. The Lumberjacks beat Division III McMurry 82-6, then lost to FCS power Northern Iowa.
