LOS ANGELES (AP) -UCLA running back Kahlil Bell, recovering from a knee injury, was cleared for full practice when preseason workouts begin Tuesday.
Bell, who led the Bruins in rushing last season, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in a 20-7 loss at Washington State on Oct. 27 and had surgery a few weeks later. The senior tailback didn’t participate in spring practice.
Bell had 795 yards rushing last season.
Redshirt freshman tailback Raymond Carter, who injured his right ACL on the second day of fall camp a year ago, was cleared for full practice a few weeks ago.
