LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -Louisville wide receiver Trent Guy was released from the hospital on Friday, less than a week after being shot in the back.
Guy was shot outside a parking garage near a downtown club in the early hours of July 5. He had surgery later that day.
The 20-year-old Guy is expected to make a full recovery, though it is unclear when or if Guy will be allowed to return to the field. Louisville football spokesman said Guy was shot after getting into an argument with another man after the man allegedly approached Guy's fiancee inside the club.
No arrests have been made.
