HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - Penn State confirms that school President Rodney Erickson has been subpoenaed to testify regarding the investigation into former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky. University spokeswoman Lisa Powers said Monday that Erickson received the grand jury subpoena last week and plans to ``fully cooperate and answer all questions truthfully.'' The subpoena was first reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Powers says Erickson's lawyers are discussing aspects of the subpoena with the state attorney general's office, including when he'll testify. It's not clear precisely what the grand jury is investigating. A spokesman for the attorney general's office declined to comment. Penn State said in February it had received a subpoena from the U.S. attorney's office in Harrisburg that asked for records of payments made by trustees to the school, among other things. |
