DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Duke has promoted graduate assistant Jeffrey Faris to receivers coach.
Coach David Cutcliffe announced Faris' promotion Thursday.
Faris played defensive back for the Blue Devils from 2008-11 and has been a graduate assistant working with the receivers for the past two years.
He takes over for Scottie Montgomery, who was promoted to offensive coordinator after Kurt Roper's departure for Florida in December.
