BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) – Indiana football coach Kevin Wilson isn’t upset about Brent Pease’s decision to stay at Boise State.
In fact, Wilson understands.
Five days after Wilson’s choice for offensive coordinator backed out of the Hoosiers’ job, Wilson told reporters that Pease kept him updated on the situation and that he was more surprised the Boise State job opened than he was that Pease decided not to move his family to Bloomington.
Wilson spoke with reporters before Saturday night’s basketball game between Indiana and Michigan.
Pease decided to stay at Boise after Boise State coach Chris Petersen decided to stay at Boise State and offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin, the Broncos offensive coordinator, left to take the same job at Texas.
