 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Texas Tech left tackle Rylan Reed was carted off the field with an apparent leg injury late in the fourth quarter of the Gator Bowl on Tuesday.
Reed got hurt on Aaron Crawford's 4-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter, a pivotal play on which Texas Tech tied the game at 28. He was strapped to a board and taken off the field, drawing an emotional response from Texas Tech fans.
Reed is a 6-foot-7, 314-pound junior from Crossett, Ark.
