The Big Ten title is at stake Saturday when No. 10 Ohio State hosts No. 15 Iowa at 3:30PM from Ohio Stadium.

Bet Iowa at Ohio State
The Buckeyes have the odds in their favor for this game, coming in with a 8-2 record on the season and a 8-2 mark against the spread. After a 26-18 loss to Purdue, Ohio State has won three straight by at least 17 points, including last week’s 24-7 win at Penn State. Ohio State has beaten Iowa in 10 of the last 11 meetings and in five straight at home.

Iowa is 9-1 this season and 6-3 against the spread. The Hawkeyes are coming off a 17-10 loss to Northwestern where starting quarterback Ricky Stanzi was injured. Stanzi will miss Saturday’s game. The Hawkeyes have covered the spread in all road games this season.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Ohio State 17-point home favorites over Iowa on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 36.5.

Ohio State has been a different team since its loss to Purdue. Terrelle Pryor has thrown five touchdown passes with one interception while rushing for three scores as well in the last three games, as his leadership has taken Ohio State to the next level. The Buckeye defense is giving up just 11 points and 254.1 yards per-game this season to go with 16 interceptions.

Iowa has long odds to cover as the Hawkeyes are without its starting quarterback and running back in Adam Robinson. In order to cover the point spread odds, the Hawkeyes will need their defense to cause problems for Pryor. Iowa does lead the Big Ten with 20 interceptions this season, but the defense has still struggled at times. The Hawkeyes aren’t likely to score a lot of points in this game, so the more Ohio State scores, the less likely Iowa is to cover. Trends show that the Buckeyes may be the best play this week, as they are 9-2 against the spread versus Iowa.
