Orange drop another
The Syracuse football team has lost back-to-back games following a 27-20 loss at home to Pittsburgh last weekend. The Orange are just 3-4 on the season, 0-3 in the ACC, 2-5 against the spread and 5-2 with the under.
Syracuse is struggling on offense and defense this year. The offense is putting up just 24.7 points and 371.1 yards per game while the defense is allowing 26.1 points and 418.9 yards per contest. Tommy DeVito has thrown for 1,635 yards and 12 touchdowns to lead the offense while Moe Neal is the leading rusher with 370 yards and three scores. Trishton Jackson is the leading receiver with 38 catches for 575 yards and six touchdowns.

The Seminoles have been struggling on defense, allowing 30.7 points and 458.7 yards per game. The offense is near the middle of the pack, averaging 28.6 points and 407 yards per contest. College Football Betting Trends
Syracuse
The Orange are 2-6 against the spread in their last eight against a losing team and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games following a loss.
Florida State
The Seminoles are 7-0 against the spread in their last seven against a losing team and 5-13-3 ATS in their last 21 conference games.
Prediction:
Florida State has won nine of the last 10 against Syracuse, but the Orange have covered the spread in the last two meetings. Both teams are hard to gauge as they have been streaky. The Orange have struggled in conference play, but still have been competitive. Florida State has some nice wins at home, but also have had some letdowns. However, the letdowns have been against teams that have been ranked. I think the Cuse is going to struggle to try and keep pace with this FSU offense. The Seminoles are home and I think they will pull away from the Orange.
College Football Week 9 Prediction: Florida State -10
