No. 2 Alabama will face a defense that could match its own on Saturday when the Crimson Tide hosts No. 22 South Carolina on Saturday at 7:45PM ET from Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Alabama has been carried to a 6-0 start thanks to its defense, which is allowing just 12.5 points and 220.5 yards per-game. The Crimson Tide have covered the spread in five of six games, with the lone loss coming in a 40-14 win over Florida International, when they were a 33.5 point-favorite. On offense, the Tide has been led by Mark Ingram, who has rushed for 659 yards and seven touchdowns. Ingram ranks ninth in the nation in rushing yards. Greg McElroy has given Alabama a solid passing threat, as he has thrown for 1,233 yards and nine touchdowns.
South Carolina is 5-1 on the year, with its lone loss being a 41-37 defeat at Georgia. The Gamecocks have covered the spread in five-of-six games, coming up short for the first time last week in a 28-26 win over Kentucky were South Carolina was favored by 9.5 points. The Gamecocks are limiting opponents to 280.3 yards and 18.3 points per-game. Stephen Garcia has thrown for 1,268 yards and nine touchdowns on the season while Moe Brown has caught 21 passes for 316 yards and two scores.
