TCU at Air Force
A perfect season is not out of reach for No. 10 TCU, but the Horned Frogs have to get past Air Force on Saturday at 7:30PM ET from Falcon Stadium.
The Horned Frogs are off to a 4-0 start, with their most impressive win coming two weeks ago in a 14-10 win at Clemson. TCU has been led by Andy Dalton, who has thrown for 814 yards and six touchdowns while Joseph Turner has 299 yards rushing with five scores. TCU ranks first in the Mountain West Conference in points per-game, but rank second to last in passing yards. Defensively, the Horned Frogs are second in the conference in points allowed per-game, but rank tops in the nation in rushing yards allowed at just 188 through four games.
TCU’s rushing defense will be tested by Air Force, which has the best rushing attack in the nation with 1,459 yards through five games. The Falcons average 63 rushing attempts per-game and the attack is led by Jared Tew, Asher Clark, and Savier Stephens, who have all rushed for over 265 yards on the season. Tim Jefferson has thrown just 40 passes on the year for 317 yards and two touchdowns. Air Force is 3-2 on the year, but is coming off a 16-13 loss to Navy last week. On defense, the Falcons are leading the conference in fewest points allowed per-game, and rank second in yards allowed and passing yards allowed.
Oddsmakers from online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com have made TCU 10-point road favorites over Air Force on Saturday night. The over/under total for this game has been established at 43.5.
