Bet Oregon vs. Washington State Odds
Before we make our prediction, let’s take a look at the current point spread.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Oregon a 36.5-point road favorite over Washington State in Week 6. The over/under total for this game has been set at 70 points.
The Ducks are a perfect 5-0 this year and 4-1 against the spread. While they’ve covered in only one of their road games, they’re 2-0 and are averaging 45 points per game away from Eugene.
The Cougars are off to a rough start again this year, as expected. They’re 1-4 straight up and 2-3 against the spread, including 0-2 at home. They’re giving up 36 points at home this year and 42.8 PPG game overall.
The Prediction:
I recommend staying away from Oregon this week, as the Ducks are coming off an emotional win against Stanford and are due for a letdown. Plus, the home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams and even though Washington State is atrocious, the Cougars should get up to face the No. 3 team in the nation. That said, my prediction won’t be made for Washington State, but for the over. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two programs at Washington State and 6-1 in the last seven meetings overall. Seventy points is a lot, but my prediction is that Oregon will score their fair share of points, while allowing Washington State to sneak in a 3-plus scores to help push the total over.
