According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cowboys are now 17-point favorites versus the Cyclones after opening as a 16.5-point favorite earlier in the week. As for the total, the number currently sits at 66.5 points after it opened at 65.

The Cyclones have covered in four of their last five conference games and are 6-2 against the number in their last eight games coming off a straight up loss. They’re also 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games played in October and are a perfect 5-0 ATS in their last five games after allowing more than 40 points in their previous game.
On the flip side, the Cowboys have cashed in 27 of their last 36 home games versus a team with a losing road record and are 22-10 against the spread in their last 32 games when facing a team with a losing record. That said, they’re just 1-4 against the number in their last five conference games and are winless at 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a win.

OUR PREDICTION: For the first time since 2005 the Cyclones have scored at least 40 points in back-to-back games. Sophomore running back Mike Warren is averaging 109.3 yards on 72 attempts over his last three games and is coming off a 30-carry, 130-yard performance against Baylor in which he found pay-dirt twice. While Oklahoma State is explosive on offense, this is a letdown spot for the Cowboys, who should win but will have trouble covering the number.
