California vs. Oregon Free Pick
Odds: Oddsmakers from the Las Vegas Hilton currently list the Ducks as 24-point favorites for tonight’s 9:00PM ET kickoff. The over/under total for this Pac-12 contest is currently sitting at 65.5 points.
Line Movement: The line opened at 23.5 and is still 23.5 at some online books, but Oregon is a 24-point favorite in Vegas. With most public bettors backing the Ducks and their high-flying offense tonight, the line will probably settle in at 24 before kickoff. As for the over/under, the total is up to 66 after opening at 65.5 in Vegas.
Public Betting: Of the 18,000-plus wagers on today’s game, 64% of college football public bettors currently favor Oregon -24. This information is subject to change leading up to kickoff, however, so make sure you click on the “Public Betting” link provided to ensure that you’re viewing the most up-to-date public betting numbers.
College Football Free Pick: Take the Cal. According to latest college football trends, the Golden Bears are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games against the Ducks and 16-5 ATS in their last 21 games as a road underdog of 10.5 points or greater. Meanwhile, the Ducks are 1-4-1 against the number in their last six games following an ATS win and 1-5 ATS in their last six Thursday night games. They’re also just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games versus a team with a winning record and while LaMichael James and Co. have things rolling on offense right now, Cal nearly upset Oregon last year as an 18.5-point dog. Granted, that game was also in California but look for the Golden Bears to keep things competitive again tonight.
