Bet on Penn State vs. Michigan
Penn State is coming off a 34-27 win over Temple last week. The Nittany Lions have hit the over in all three games this year and in six of their last seven overall. Surprisingly, Penn State isn’t limiting opponents on defense, giving up 27.3 points per game right now. Because of that, the offense is having to air it out and averaging 35.3 points and 276 yards passing per game. Trace McSorley has thrown for 828 yards and four touchdowns to lead the offense while Saquon Barkley has run for 258 yards and six touchdowns.
Michigan is coming off a 45-28 win over Colorado at home. The Wolverines are 3-0 and have hit the over in all three games this season, along with 10 straight games overall. Michigan is averaging 53 points and 452 yards per game on the season while giving up only 15 points and 296 yards per game. Wilton Speight has been strong as the new starter, throwing for 686 yards and eight touchdowns with just one interception. Chris Evans and De’Veon Smith have combined for 307 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

You would normally think that Michigan’s offensive numbers would take a hit this week against Penn State, but the Nittany Lions are not the physical football team we usually expect. Pitt put up over 40 points on this team and Michigan seems to be a stronger offense than Pitt. Falling behind early, the Nittany Lions will be forced to air it out again, which McSorley should have some success doing. The total isn’t very high for two teams that have yet to hit an under in 2016.
