Arkansas is 26-0 against the Sun Belt Conference and 8-0 against the Warhawks. In 2008, Louisiana-Monroe led 27-14 entering the fourth quarter, but Arkansas rallied to win 28-27.
Arkansas started the season with a 44-10 win over Tennessee Tech. Heisman hopeful Ryan Mallett threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Razorbacks, who out-gained the Golden Eagles 519-187. Joe Adams caught six passes for 138 yards and two scores in the victory.
UL-Monroe is kicking off the season against Arkansas after going 6-6 in 2009. The Warhawks have a new coach in Todd Berry but return just 11 starters this season. The Warhawks scored 25.6 points per-game last season while allowing 27.3. Senior quarterback Trey Revell will be looked at to lead the team. He threw for 1,739 yards and 12 touchdowns last season while senior running back Frank Goodin rushed for 1,126 yards and 13 scores in 2009.
