Freeman has been a steady force for Oregon in the backfield all season and is the team’s leading rusher by a large margin. According to oddsmakers from BetDSI, Freeman has been given an over/under of 97.5 rushing yards for Monday night’s game against Ohio State.
Freeman has rushed for 1,343 yards this season for Oregon on 242 carries. That is an average of 5.6 yards per carry. Freeman has found a way to rush for at least 98 yards in eight games this season. He was held to just 44 yards on 12 carries in the Rose Bowl, but he had rushed for at least 98 yards in the eight games prior to that. He is up against an Ohio State defense that allows 141.7 rushing yards per game.

Freeman has a nose for end zone as well this season. For Monday’s title game, he is being given odds of -285 to score. Freeman has rushed for 18 touchdowns this season while catching one touchdown pass. Freeman has been held without a touchdown in five games this season, but he scored twice in the Rose Bowl.
