Line in national title game drops
ARLINGTON, TX (The Spread) – If you like Ohio State in their national title matchup with Oregon, now is the time to jump on the spread.
View Updated National Title Game Odds
Ohio State opened as high as 8-point underdogs at some books after it beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl and Oregon waxed Florida State in the Rose Bowl. But all the line has done since that point is drop, first down to 7.5 and then down past the key number of 7 to 6.5 at most books.
Now the line has been bet down even farther, dropping from 6.5 down to 6 at some online books such as BetDSI, and from 7 down to 6.5 at most Vegas sports books.
The Buckeyes are a healthy 9-2-1 against the spread in their last 12 games versus Pac-12 opponents and are 4-1 against the number in their last five non-conference games. If you like OSU, now is the time to jump on the line before it gets down even further.
