Updated Final Four Odds

(The Spread) – The 2012-13 College Basketball Season is starting to get into full swing and nearing the start of conference play. Here is an updated look at the odds to win this season’s national title.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Indiana is the favorite to win it all, as he has 4/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Louisville and Duke, who each have 8/1 odds.

Indiana is No. 1 in the AP poll and No. 9 in the current RPI rankings. The Hoosiers are off to an impressive 9-0 start with wins over the likes of Georgetown, North Carolina and Georgia. The Hoosiers face Butler this Saturday and then have an easy road to the start of Big Ten play.

Louisville is No. 5 in the AP Poll and 16th in the RPI. Louisville is 8-1 on the season with a 76-71 loss to Duke as its only defeat. The Cardinals lone impressive win is over Missouri. Louisville has a big meeting with Kentucky prior to the start of Big East play on Dec. 29.

Duke is No. 2 in the AP Poll and No. 1 in the RPI rankings. The Blue Devils are off to a 9-0 start with big wins over the likes of Kentucky, Louisville and Ohio State, all of which were ranked in the top 5 at the time. The Blue Devils have a relatively easy four-game stretch until ACC play begins.
