NCAA Championship Odds
INDIANAPOLIS, IN (TheSpread) – The NCAA Tournament is now down to the Final Four. Here is a look at the latest odds to walk away with this year’s championship.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kentucky is still the clear favorite to win, as it has 5/7 odds. Other odds to win are Duke (3/1), Wisconsin (15/4) and Michigan State (15/2). The Final Four will be held on Saturday with the title game on Monday from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Kentucky was the top seed in the Midwest Region and the Wildcats cruised through their first three games, beating Hampton, Cincinnati and West Virginia by double digits. In the regional final, it edged Notre Dame, 68-66 in a game where it was down by six in the second half. Kentucky is 38-0 on the season. Kentucky is appearing in its 17th Final Four and it is seeking its ninth national championship.
Duke is the top seed out of the South Region. The Blue Devils defeated Robert Morris by 29, San Diego State by 19 and Utah by 6. In the regional final, it took care of Gonzaga, 66-52. Duke is appearing in its 16th Final Four and it is seeking its fifth national title.
Wisconsin is the top seed out of the West Region. The Badgers defeated Coastal Carolina by 14, Oregon by 7 and North Carolina by 7 before beating Arizona in the regional final by 7 points as well. The Badgers are appearing in their fourth Final Four and seeking their second national title.
Michigan State is the surprise team in the Final Four as it was the seventh seed out of the East Region. The Spartans beat Georgia by 7, Virginia by 6, Oklahoma by 4 and Louisville by a final of 76-70 in OT. The Spartans are appearing in their ninth Final Four and seeking their third national title.
