According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Iowa State is favored in this game, as the Cyclones have odds of -1.5 points against Connecticut. The over/under total for the game has been set at 147 points (View Matchup). When it comes to key players, oddsmakers see those as Shabazz Napier of Connecticut and DeAndre Kane of Iowa State.

Kane has been given over/under odds of 18.5 points for the contest. Kane has 38 points in the NCAA Tournament, including 24 points in the win over North Carolina when star player Georges Niang was out with a foot injury. Kane is going to be relied on now with Niang out. Kane is averaging 17.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game on the season while shooting 48.9 percent from the field. The senior guard has scored at least 19 points in 15 of 35 games this season for Iowa State.

Napier has been given an over/under total of 17.5 points against Iowa State. Napier has 49 points over the two NCAA Tournament games for the Huskies. He is 16 of 35 from the field and 6 of 16 from 3-point land. The senior guard is averaging 17.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game for Connecticut.
