Oddsmakers from online sports book Bodog.com have made Connecticut a 3-point favorite in the matchup with Arizona, while the over-under is set at 145. Connecticut has topped Cincinnati and San Diego State in its last two contests, while Arizona has bested Texas and Duke.
According to the latest trends, Connecticut is 21-11 against the spread in all games this season. Connecticut is also 11-0 ATS in all neutral court games this season. Arizona is 10-3 ATS after a non-conference game this season.
Kemba Walker (24 ppg) has carried UConn all season and it has been no different in the last two as he combined for 69 points in the two wins. Arizona sophomore power forward Derrick Williams (19.8 ppg) has also been an instrumental force in his team’s success and most recently scored 32 in the convincing win over Duke.

March Madness Predictions: At this point, it is very difficult to find good reason to bet against Walker. His presence is the only reason Connecticut had a season like it did. While others such as freshman Jeremy Lamb have certainly stepped forward to complement him, the junior point guard is unmistakenly a force and someone who is driven to succeed. As well as Arizona has played in its last two games, it might have now run into too tough of a test. If Walker can again get his 25-plus points, and I think he will, while the rest of the roster can pick up some scoring slack look for UConn to pull away in the latter stages here. Williams and Arizona are going to put up a fight, but even so I think Connecticut’s play in recent weeks will continue. Take the Huskies at -3. .
