The Big Ten isn’t a flashy basketball conference but still has some of the top teams in the nation. Here is a look at the odds for each team to win the 2011 Big Ten regular season title.

Currently unbeaten Ohio State is the favorite to win the conference according to online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com. The Buckeyes have 3/2 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Michigan State (2/1), Wisconsin (6/1), and Minnesota (6/1).

Ohio State has won 18 regular season titles in history, though some have since been vacated. The Buckeyes won a share of the title last year and are currently tied for first in the conference at 4-0 with Purdue. Ohio State is 17-0 overall while Purdue is 15-1 overall. The Boilermakers come in with 10/1 odds as they have injuries issues to get through this season.

Michigan State is a perennial contender for the conference title, but the Spartans are 11-5 on the season and 3-1 in the Big Ten. MSU has not been playing up to its preseason top-5 potential as of yet but still a dangerous team. Michigan State has won 12 conference titles and they split a share of the 2010 championship.

Both Wisconsin and Minnesota already have multiple losses in conference while Illinois has just one loss in conference play. The Illini have 8/1 odds to win the title.
