Florida Gulf Coast (4-6) jumped out to a 13-0 lead as Kyle Marks had a pair of dunks. Back-to-back 3-pointers by Delvin Franklin extended the Eagles' lead to 19-3.
The two teams entered the locker room with Florida Gulf Coast in the lead, 31-17.
Wales (4-10) to 29.8 percent shooting (14 of 47) and forced 26 turnovers, which resulted in 22 points.
O?Neil also had seven rebounds and five assists. Addison Smith and Delvin Franklin each added 11 points for Florida Gulf Coast.
